- what are points? how do i get them?
points are an incentive for posting quality content on sqeez. they serve as a way to rank content on the site.
to receive points, you must first create content. points can be awarded to your blog posts, media, questions, answers to questions and support requests. each piece of content can only receive one point from each user.
as you gain points, you’ll be able to give out points to other users. giving points does not diminish your personal point total, however, your point total does effect how many points you are able to give out.
you can award points to other users for content that you find interesting, funny, exciting, insightful, original or thought-provoking. to give a point, click on the check mark icon
beneath or beside the content. the check mark will turn green
if the point was given successfully or it will turn red
if you were not able to give a point, either because you had already given the item a point or you had no points to give.
by hovering your mouse over a check mark, you can see how many points you have left to give.
- what are tags?
tags are words or phrases used to describe users and content.
tags make it easier to find users and content quickly. if you click on a tag, you are taken to a page displaying users, images and blog posts that share the tag.
- what are tag clouds?
tag clouds are a way of visualizing tag popularity by relative size.
on profiles, clouds show tags which are frequently used on a user’s content.
on individual tag pages, clouds show tags that are related together.
- what is the stream?

questions are a fun way to express yourself, earn points and learn more about other sqeez members. a new question is activated on the site every weekend.
to answer a question, click on the question’s text, type your response and click save. if you don't feel like answering a particular question, you can click the
button to skip it and ignore it in the future.
you can see all the currently active questions, including the ones you've decided to ignore, by clicking the large question icon next to any of the questions.
any user can ask a question and all are encouraged to do so. to submit a potential question, go to dashboard > new > question. questions cannot be edited once they are submitted, so double check your typing before you ask!
once submitted, new questions are visible to other sqeez users, who can then award points to them and help them on their way to becoming active on the site. once a question receives a certain point level we'll pick the best ones so that it will be integrated into sqeez and presented to all members via the dashboard.
